Mike Louis Penders (born July 31, 2005, in Maasmechelen, Belgium) is a promising goalkeeper for KRC Genk. He joined the club from Bregel Sport in 2018 and signed his first contract in 2021, extended until 2025. Penders debuted in 2022 for Jong Genk in Eerste klasse B, later becoming their main goalkeeper and captain for the 2023/24 season. With the departure of Maarten Vandevoordt to RB Leipzig in 2024, Penders stepped up to the first team and debuted with a clean sheet against Standard Liège. Afterwards he was rewarded with a contract from Chelsea FC.
