As a major talent, Bas already got his chance between the posts last season with the championship-winning squad of Jong KAA Gent in Eerste Nationale.
That Evers is a more than promising goalkeeper was already evident at the KDB Cup in 2023. At the international U15 tournament, he was voted best goalkeeper. He is now also part of the national U17 squad.
Under coach Thomas Matton, Bas featured in goal six times for Jong KAA Gent last season, conceding just 1 goal in those matches.
Contract with KAA Gent until 2028.
